Spooky Cauldron Workshop: Tropical Plants | Voodoo Brewing, Virginia Beach VA
Fill a cauldron with live tropicals and spooky decor at a brewery literally called Voodoo. Two hours on a Sunday afternoon, everything provided, and a drink is included with your seat.
What you'll build
A cauldron planter, alive and spilling over the rim. Cast iron black, standing on three legs, filled with lush tropicals in deep burgundies and silvery greens with trailing vines pouring down the side.
You pick your plants, tuck in the moss, and add your spooky decor. Some people go full witchy. Some go elegant and eerie. Both are correct, and no two tables leave the same.

Good to know
Tropicals keep going year round, so this one lives well past October. Pull the spooky decor out in November and you've got a cauldron of houseplants.
Voodoo is a Virginia Beach gastropub built like a European beer hall, locally owned, with craft beer, handcrafted cocktails and mocktails, and elevated pub food. Your seat comes with a drink and the rest of the menu is open for purchase. Sunday afternoon means you get the evening back.
Come solo, come with your crew, come on a date. Beginners are the whole point, so if you've killed every plant you've ever owned, you're in the right room.
Seating is limited and we cap every workshop so everyone gets real one-on-one time.

What’s included
Each workshop includes your vessel, plants, and all supplies needed to create your project, plus step-by-step instructions. No experience needed.
Booking info
Reserve your spot online, then check in by name when you arrive. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time, and keep in mind that some venues only offer street parking.
Important info
Please arrive on time so you can settle in before we begin. Kids under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. You must be 21 years old or older to drink alcohol.
Cancellation policy
We understand plans change. Cancellations made within 48 hours can receive a credit. No refunds. No credits for no-shows.

This is a hands-on creative experience where you’ll build your own terrarium step by step with guidance from our instructors. We’ll walk you through each layer, share care tips along the way, and send you home with a living piece you can enjoy long after the workshop.
