Paint & Plant: Ceramic Pumpkin Succulent Workshop | The Hill Beer & Wine Garden, Troy NY

$50.00

What you'll build

A ceramic pumpkin planter you painted yourself, filled with live succulents.

First half is paint. Paint pens,Β  a full fall palette, and a stack of inspiration cards on the table if you want ideas. Go rustic, go bold, go weird. This part is yours and there's no wrong way to do it.

Second half is plants. That's where we step in and walk you through drainage, soil, and arranging your succulents so the thing actually thrives past October.

Your seat includes

πŸ“– A care guide so it actually survives

Good to know

The Hill is Troy's hidden gem: a European beer garden tucked into the hills, string lights, stone and woodwork, and a full menu of Central European beers and wine. Honestly one of the best rooms we've ever set a table in.

Wear something you don't mind getting paint on.

Food and drinks available for purchase. Come solo, come with your crew, come on a date. Beginners are the whole point, for both halves.

We only have a limited number of pumpkins. Once they're gone, that's the season.

Shipping

We ship within the continental United States only. Orders are processed and shipped within 2 to 3 business days. Live plants ship early in the week so they aren't sitting in a truck over the weekend.

Plants arrive in plain packaging with a generic packing slip.

Cold weather shipping: when daytime temperatures along the route drop below 45Β°F, orders ship with insulated protection and a heat pack. [Adjust this line once you decide how you're handling the cost.]

Need to change your address? Email us within 24 hours of ordering. After that, we can't reroute a package, and orders returned to the greenhouse for a bad address aren't refundable.

Returns & refunds

Live plants are perishable, so we don't accept returns on them. What we do guarantee is that your plant arrives healthy.

If it arrives damaged, email us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the plant and the packaging. We'll send a replacement or refund the damaged items.

Carrier delays and packages lost in transit fall outside this guarantee. Reach out anyway and we'll help you chase it down.

Unopened kits, tools, and supplies can be returned within 14 days in original condition.

Live plant guarantee

Your plant is grown in a greenhouse and shipped straight to you, so it arrives fresh rather than after sitting in a warehouse.

Some travel stress is normal. A little wilting or a yellow leaf usually sorts itself out within a week of settling in. If something looks worse than that, send us a photo within 48 hours and we'll take care of it.

Plant care

Every plant we sell has care notes in our guides, covering light, water, and what to do when something looks off.
