Paint & Plant: Ceramic Pumpkin Succulent Workshop | Altamont Vineyard & Winery, Altamont NY
Decorate a white ceramic pumpkin with paint markers, then plant it with live succulents and take it home the same afternoon. Two hours in a working vineyard, every supply provided, and a Garden to Glass botanical mocktail waiting when you sit down.
What you'll build
A white ceramic pumpkin you decorated yourself, planted with live succulents.
First you design. Paint markers, a full fall palette, and inspiration cards on the table if you want ideas. Markers mean fine lines and real control, so you can do delicate botanical linework, bold color blocks, lettering, whatever you're after. No brushes, no mess, no waiting around for it to dry.
Then you plant. That's where we step in and walk you through drainage, soil, and arranging your succulents so it actually thrives long after October.
Your seat includes
πΉ A Garden to Glass botanical mocktail, included with your seat
π Your 5.5" white ceramic pumpkin planter, yours to keep
π΅ Succulents in fall tones
π Preserved moss and seasonal accents
πΏ Hands-on instruction from a Planter instructor
β¨ Every tool and supply, nothing to bring
π A care guide for the arrangement and for replanting after
Good to know
This one isn't seasonal. The pumpkin is ceramic, so it comes back out every fall, and the succulents keep going year round.
Altamont Vineyard is a small winery in the hills outside the village, with a tasting room, a shop, and rows you can walk before or after. Your seat comes with a Garden to Glass botanical mocktail, and wine is available by the glass or bottle if you want it. Sunday noon means you get the rest of the day back.
Come solo, come with your crew, come make a whole afternoon of the drive. Beginners are the whole point, for both halves.
We only have a limited number of pumpkins. Once they're gone, that's the season.
