Workshop Details
You’ll start with a 6" glass slant vase as the base for your moss garden. From there, you’ll layer soil, add living moss, plant tropicals, and build out a mini home scene that feels like its own little story.

• One 6" diameter glass slant vase
• Tropical plants suitable for indoor moss gardens
• Live moss and appropriate soil/substrate
• Decorative pebbles, stones, and natural elements
• Fairy decor pieces (tiny houses, mushrooms, pathways, etc.)

• Guided, step-by-step instruction
Bring your own characters! You’re welcome to bring small figurines from home to personalize your mini world, such as:
• LEGO minifigures
• Dungeons & Dragons or other tabletop characters
• Mini animals or fantasy creatures
• Any small, water-safe figurines that fit comfortably in the vase
This is a relaxed, creative workshop. We’ll walk you through each step: layering soil and moss, planting tropicals, and designing your mini home scene with decor and figurines. You’ll learn how to care for your moss garden and keep your plants happy indoors. The cozy atmosphere at Bard & Baker makes this a great way to spend a Saturday morning—solo, with friends, or as a unique date.

Each workshop includes your vessel, plants, and all supplies needed to create your project, plus step-by-step instructions. No experience needed.

Reserve your spot online, then check in by name when you arrive. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time, and keep in mind that some venues only offer street parking.

Please arrive on time so you can settle in before we begin. Kids under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
