Hanging Skull Planter Workshop: Tropical Plants | Nine Pin Cider Works, Albany NY
Pick your skull, black or bone, then fill it with live tropicals and spooky decor and hang it wherever you want to unsettle someone. Two hours at New York's first farm cidery, everything provided, and a drink is included with your seat.
What you'll build
A hanging skull planter, trailing and alive. Cast in real detail, about 6" long and 4" tall, hung on rope and heavy enough to feel like something you bought rather than something you made.
Pick black or bone. Fill it with tropicals in deep reds and pink-veined greens, tuck moss into the eye sockets, add your spooky decor, and let the vines spill out through the jaw. Some people go full witchy. Some go elegant and eerie. Both are correct, and no two leave the same.

Good to know
This isn't a pumpkin you throw out in November. The skull is permanent and the tropicals keep going year round. Pull the cobwebs out after Halloween and you've got a hanging plant with a skull for a pot, which is arguably better. It comes back out every October from here on.
Nine Pin is New York's first farm cidery, pressing everything from Capital Region and Hudson Valley apples, never concentrate. Eighteen taps, sourdough pizza, and an industrial Warehouse District room that suits this perfectly. Your seat comes with a drink, and the rest of the menu is open for purchase.
Come solo, come with your crew, come in costume if the mood strikes. Beginners are the whole point, so if you've killed every plant you've ever owned, you're in the right room.
Pick your color at checkout. We bring a set number of each, and when a color's gone it's gone.
