Fall Plant & Sip: Succulent Arrangement Workshop | Sand Lake Merchant, Averill Park NY
A long whitewashed planter, filled edge to edge with fall succulents and trailing greens. Two hours after hours in a 200-year-old mercantile, every supply provided, and a beverage on us.
What you'll build
A fall succulent arrangement in a whitewashed wood planter, 9" long by 5.3" wide by 4.3" deep. Long and low, so it sits down a table or across a mantel the way a real centerpiece does.
You'll fill it edge to edge: deep burgundies, dusty purples, silvery greens, and trailing succulents that spill over the front. Then moss, stone, and fall accents. We walk you through the whole build. No two leave the same.
Your seat includes
πΉ A non-alcoholic beverage, included with your seat
πͺ΅ Your 9" whitewashed wood planter, yours to keep
π΅ A full mix of succulents, hand-picked at the table
πͺ¨ Soil, drainage, and preserved moss
π Seasonal fall accents
π± Hands-on instruction from a Planter instructor
β¨ Every tool you need, nothing to bring
π A care guide so it actually survives
Good to know
Sand Lake Merchant lives in a building that's been at the center of Averill Park for two hundred years, first as the town's grocery and post office. Today it's a mercantile and cafe with Italian gelato, local goods, and an upstairs event space.
Come solo, come with your crew, come on a date. Beginners are the whole point, so if you've killed every plant you've ever owned, you're in the right room.
Seating is limited and we cap every workshop so everyone gets real one-on-one time.
