Air Plant Snow Globe Workshop | Beach Vodka, Virginia Beach VA
A footed glass bowl, a drift of white pebble snow, and air plants that don't need a speck of soil to live in it. Everything is provided and your winter scene comes home with you that night.
What you’ll build
Here’s the thing about air plants. They don’t need soil. Which means the whole bowl can be snow.
Your globe sits on a glass stand, and the stand is what makes it. Set it on a shelf and it looks like something that came in a box. Inside, you’ll build a winter scene out of fine white pebbles, air plants, moss, ribbon, and whatever holiday details you reach for. The slanted opening means you can see straight into it from across the room.
Some people build a quiet little drift. Some fill it. Both are correct, and no two leave the same.

Good to know
Air plants live on light and a soak every week or two. No soil, no pot, no drainage. Lift them out, soak them, put them back. That’s the whole job.
This one comes back out every December. Pull the snow and swap in moss or stone if you want it on your shelf in July.
Beach Vodka is a Virginia Beach distillery with a tasting room and bottle shop, started from scratch by a local who did the permits, the distilling and the branding herself. Drinks available for purchase.
